Life Teen Mission Trip 2016

Hey Parishioners, Friends, Family and Teens,

Week of Hope

This year we will be embarking on a new journey! 15 high school teens accompanied by 3 chaperons, Danny and my self will travel to Orlando, Florida for our first Mission Trip in a couple of years! We will be working with Group Missions on their Week of Hope! For the week of June 19-24, 2016, we will be serving with other groups in soup kitchens, clothing centers, day cares, shelters and serving with the homeless. This trip is to encourage our teens to get active in their communities and give back!

Reminding them that we are the hands and feet of God, and that through our actions and words, others come to know the love of Christ!

Our Fundraising goal id $9,000.00

Every penny counts in helping us reach our goal!!! Please stay tuned for all of our fundraising events and ways that you can help the teens make it down to Orlando!

Please keep us in your prayers!! Here are the names of the teens attending the Mission Trip!!

Bryan ———-  Juan Carlos ———- Perla ———- Ruby

Flo ———- Esli ———- Jackeline ———- Elizabeth

Rodolfo ———- Enrique ———- Marian ———- Precious

Gicelle ———- Alondra ———- Bianca

On a side note: This mission trip serves as a test run. In years past, the Life Teen Program at St. Thomas the Apostle took teens to Jamaica with Mustard Seed. Danny and myself have been praying and really considering the possible opportunity of returning to Jamaica the summer of 2017. This Mission Trip will help give us an idea of how the teens and chaperons react to the work.
